The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) is pleased to present our

summer juried exhibit, The Natural World, from August 4-September 20, 2025

at the historic Mayslake Peabody Estate. Tara Riley’s painting, “Growing Through the Fence” was selected for inclusion in this exhibit. Riley’s use of mixed media and dynamic brushwork brings depth and texture, highlighting themes of perseverance, growth, and natural strength. This piece celebrates how life finds a way to flourish, even in the face of obstacles. It’s both uplifting and powerful, a testament to beauty emerging in unexpected places.
